Glow Run - APRIL 21, 2017

Registration Information:

Our glow-themed run is a family- friendly event that raises awareness to empower children to find their voice and speak up against abuse. Together we are giving children back their childhood! This year’s event features:

  • 10K (chip-timed) 
  • 5K Glow Run (chip-timed)
  • 1-Mile Fun Walk
  • 400 Yard Super Hero Dash or
  • Glow on Your Own (Opportunity to make a $25 donation to the CAC if not available to run)

Routes: 

Schedule of Events: 

  • 5:00 pm -  Registration and packet pick-up begins by the Frisco Stage
  • 6:00 pm - Yoga Warm-up for Kids at Frisco Stage
  • 6:15 pm -  400- Yard Superhero dash
  • 6:30 pm  - 1-Mile Walk/Run
  • 6:45 pm -  Glow from Head to Toe contest and parade
  • 7:00 pm -  10K (chip-timed)
  • 7:30-7:45 p.m. -  Candlelight Vigil
  • 7:45 p.m. - Zumba Warm-up
  • 8:00 pm - 5K Glow Run (chip-timed)
  • 8:45 – 9:15 p.m. Awards Ceremony

Night-time events features an explosion of glow-in-the-dark elements:

  • Everyone is encouraged to Glow from Head to Toe!
  • Get your “Glow on” with face and body paint
  • Food/snacks on sale from local vendors.
  • Family-friendly environment with inflatables and activities for all ages.
  • Prizes: Top 3 overall, Top 5 each age category; Best Glow from Head to Toe participant.

Packet Pick-up:

  • Early Packet and Goody Bag Pick-up - April 20th and April 21st.
  • Thursday, April 20th from 3:00-6:30 p.m. and Friday, April 21st from 11-4:30 p.m.
  • Pre-run packet and goody bag pick up to be held at Rush Running in downtown Rogers (226 South 1st Street, Rogers) 
  • Early packet and goody bag pick up is only available for those who have registered by April 19th at midnight. All others will be able to pick up their goody bags and packets at the event.
